I’ve been doing photography since 1994, starting out on 35mm film and moving to digital in the late 2000s. I learned a lot from my father, who had a darkroom in his college days and would often spend an entire evening producing a single enlarged print. I enjoy all types of subjects, but above all I love photographing live music. No doubt it is the sound engineer in me, but I also love the challenge of capturing the essence of a performance in a single still image.
